Web Design Experience

Assistant Web Developer

  • Assisted in coding full HTML and CSS for a web buildout designed to showcase the work from an Immersive Journalism class in the Media School at Indiana University.
  • Determined the layout of stories for each page in order of relevance and intensity.
  • Designed a logo for the class along with animation graphics, infographics and icons in Adobe Illustrator & AfterEffects.


The Red Zone August 2016–December 2016

Web Developer

  • Coded and designed the layout for a semester long story coverage detailing the lives of freshman women experiencing the college atmosphere for the first time.
  • Designed infographics detailing important statistics that were relevant to the storyline.
  • Researched and participated in the storyline development, interviewed subjects and composed a short video as a visual aid.



Leadership Experience

Shift Manager

  • Performed managerial tasks such as overseeing the morning preparation or evening closing processes, executed cash deposits and provided outstanding customer service.
  • Opened the store in the mornings, at times running the restaurant on my own.
  • Kept others on task in a positive manner while keeping the restaurant clean and operating efficiently.


Jackson Creek Middle School November 2014–February 2015

7th Grade Girls Basketball Assistant Coach

  • Helped execute drills during practice as a team as well as in small groups.
  • Co-coached the 'B' Team games alongside the team's other assistant.
  • Supervised all locker room activity, keeping things in line in the home locker room on a daily basis as well as on the road during away games.

  • Analyzed requirements and solicited information to design Conceptual Schemas using an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), converted ERD into Logical Schema, and implemented the Logical Schema into a Relational Model (SQL).
